Local associations often offer training beyond ‘beginner’ in the format of study groups, workshop sessions or talks. Associations can fill empty places by sharing their information on this page so that HBA members can request to attend other associations’ training events.

Improvers’ course (BBKA Basic Assessment Preparation)

DATE: March 2022
This course is organised by South West Hampshire Beekeepers’ Association.
It runs for 4 weeks in March (one session per week) followed by apiary visits. The cost is £50. Please email training@swhbk.org.uk or visit the website for more information.

Improvers’ Beekeeping course

DATE: 4th,11th,18th,25th May 2022
VENUE: Lyndhurst Community Centre
This course runs over four evenings and is designed for beekeepers with over one years’ experience to brush up on the past and move a little higher up the knowledge level. It is also useful for those taking the BBKA Basic Assessment in the summer.
The cost will be a nominal £20.00 open to all HBA members.
